NOW, AS WE GET TOWARD THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK, WE MIGHT SEE A FEW BREAKS IN THAT HEAT MIGHT BE DIPPING DOWN INTO THE UPPER 90S A LITTLE BIT, AND THEN AS WE GET INTO NEXT WEEKEND, SOMEWHAT COOLER. LOOKS LIKE WE MIGHT ACTUALLY SEE SOME DOUBLE DIGIT HIGHS NEXT WEEKEND. AND I’M SURE EVERYONE IS GOING TO BE WELCOMING THAT. A vegetation fire in El Dorado County is moving fast and has prompted evacuations, according to Cal Fire. At least 16 acres have burned so far, Cal Fire said. The fire is moving at a dangerous rate of speed.The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office said evacuation orders are in place from Country Club and Duden Drives to the Placerville Airport. There are road closures at Broadway and Airport Road, Cedar Ravine Raod and County Club Drive, and Cedar Ravie Road and Paydirt Drive. Access to the airport has been cut off.
